@NuCaloric I really love D2 and its more realistic "bland" artstyle but I just adore D1's style cause it looks like an oil painting, it's beautiful

Whenever I post about D1 visuals I'll get a lot of people parroting "D2 is so cartoony I miss D1's realism.." in my replies, which I never understand? Because D2 is quite often the more "realistic" appearing game? Like are we exclusively basing these takes off armor or something
