I wrote this the other day because I feel exactly like the man in this video. I first named it “Solitude”, but might change it to “Nature’s Silence”. Not sure yet. Loneliness does not exist, Neither does a dark abyss. Peace fills the heart and soul, The Source will always keep it full. In nature this is felt the most, God’s design from coast to coast. Majestic mountains steal our wind, As prairies reveal the Source within. Our soul is connected to all that’s around, Invisibly tethered ~ no web to be found. And yet it exists, although can’t be seen, In silence it’s felt and there’s no denying. 💚

Not a good day.... For the past 8 months I have been going to see my friends father either in the hospital or at his home. My friend lives in Florida and we were childhood best friends and his dad was like a father to me. I found his dad today passed away in his bed on my friend's birthday. 😢

Overcast with some blue today.. chilly per usual this year 😔.. coffee is FINALLY ready. Time to don my leg brace and get to chores and enjoy my world. Hopefully reception will let me visit again when I'm done.. enjoy yourselves my friends.. Jane out 🫧

So, we just got back from another hike. This time we went five miles, so we’ve hiked almost 20 miles since yesterday. Not too bad. I was grabbing some litter earlier, but forgot to bring a bag. Welp, I have an outer pocket that is open and so I was just reaching my arm around and putting small things in there. I figured I’d wash the bag when I get home. I saw a Modelo beer can, so I smashed it and threw it in there….VERY BAD IDEA. Next thing I knew, I had little red ants crawling all over my back, arms & shoulders. 😂 I told Annabel to stay, threw off my backpack and it had ants on it everywhere. Next time I will look at a can better before doing that. I felt so dumb. 🤦‍♀️🤣 Here I am brushing ants off me like a crazy person while people are going by me. 😆 I had to throw the can back down. It’s kind of hard to see, but those ants were all over the top of that beer & I’m sure they were inside too. I guess I didn’t realize that they were drinkers. 😆

Annabel and I hiked another five miles, saw some cool mushrooms and we went down to the lake because I was thinking about watching the sunset, but I decided to come back and get a campfire going soon. I’m hoping that the sky stays pretty clear. I want to see some stars tonight. ✨

@JacobtheGamer_ They’re all over the campground, but they don’t seem to bother anyone. They actually go the other direction whenever we come up on them.

Not today tick….😂 We just got back from a hike that was a little over seven miles. I found a couple ticks yesterday and today, but I took care of them. One of the only bugs that I absolutely do not like & will smash. I always have rocks around, so if they were smart, they would stay away from me and my Annabel. 😆 I took a photo before I smashed him so I could identify it. They seriously give me the heebie-jeebies. 😬

@RustyPatch369 The tiny nymphs are the worst. They’re the size of a poppy seed or the tip of a pen. I stepped into a nest of them once. There were hundreds crawling up my sneakers, so I just took them off and threw them out. 😂
