When did Trump and his team know he had congestive heart failure? Before the election?

@StevenFulop It was an excellent campaign, and the momentum you built will continue to grow.

Obviously, last night didn’t turn out the way we hoped but I just wanted to take a moment to express my deep appreciation and gratitude. The hardest part for me is that there’s not much I’d go back and change. I felt our campaign was substantive, thoughtful, and true to the kind of change we wanted to bring to New Jersey. That’s what a campaign should be. I’m proud of the work we did and the way we did it. For now, I’m going to step back from social media and politics for a bit to recalibrate and refocus on some things I’ve put on the back burner. But before I do, I want to say - thank you.

@highbg How interesting! My novel The Bulgarian Training Manual (a parody of self-improvement and other cultural trends) came out last summer and when I was writing I was imagining or reimagining Bulgaria as a literary, cerebral place. And here it is. Thanks for posting.

@johncusack If you are a government contractor you shouldn’t be privy to the bidding and inside information on your competitors stored on government computers. Or does that not apply to SpaceX?

Jeff Bezos never wanted this cartoon to become public. He killed it, and as a result, pulitzer prize editorial cartoonist Ann Telnaes quit. Make sure everyone sees this cartoon.

@RonFilipkowski Wait what? No one wants to see the flag at half staff — NOT half mast BTW which is for ships — in honor of Carter because it happens to coincide w the inauguration ? That’s insanely narcissistic

@AuthorMGH @Perez_Writes Yay another Jersey book!! Mine is NJ centric but mostly Jersey City and Hoboken. There ought to be a NJ shake-it-up anti-bland lit weekend.

The literati should read more books by Americans in 2025. You don't have to hype up every translated book by some rando from Norway. More focus on small press American writers from Ohio, New Mexico, etc. Let's discover America again.

Love the wild ride of @RuthBonapace debut novel The Bulgarian Training Manuel. estelleserasmus.com/106-forays-int… In This Episode The concept of The Bulgarian Training Manual, and how it morphed from a short story to a full length book Putting local angle, sites, personalities and pop culture into a novel Imbuing research into a fictional story Advice from a popular novelist that gave Ruth the freedom to write without worry Incorporating magic, fairy tales, myth and archetypes into story Ambiguity and shape shifting as a throughline and plot device Focusing on characters’ organic transformations Working speculative elements and whimsy into a story The historical genesis of the fad diet from the book The power of going down rabbit holes while writing How Ruth found her publisher, Clash Books
