Shout out to all my fellow ADHD folk who are only just starting their taxes before the midnight deadline because their only motivation is stress and avoiding the profound injustice of a fine from HMRC.

@_it_still_sucks @MarinaPurkiss My dad begged for more morphine because he was in so much pain, but he had already reached the limit and when they gave him more he had fits which was distressing. It was awful not being able to help someone in such agony.

@MarinaPurkiss I'd probably request morphine in such a scenario and keep requesting.

I was made aware of a man who had terminal bowel cancer… He wanted to be allowed to die But this wasn’t an option He ended up with a blockage that led to death via hours of faecal vomiting His wife witnessed it all and now has PTSD I support the assisted dying bill.

@NenioGB On a peregrine the mask droops lower, a bit like comedy sideburns.

@NenioGB I would say Sparrowhawk. Both birds are similar in size, but peregrines have a distinctive dark mask below the eyes. Sparrowhawks have more rounded wings and a barred tail, which your bird also has.

This afternoon my father a law died on the age of 97 after a long and beautifull live and a marriage of 64 years with my mother in law.
