Joseph Ruzer. He’s produced and directed for some of TV’s biggest shows, Love After Lockup, Inmate to Roommate, and Flavor of Love, and written and directed his own films The Squatter, Bodega, and Scarf Face.
His new documentary How Did We Get Here is a raw, on-the-ground look at the war Israel/Palestine conflict, capturing both Israeli and Palestinian voices, and searching for truth in a world built on division.
Today, as Israel and Palestine announce a ceasefire and the first hostages are being released, this conversation feels even more powerful.
Two of the brothers featured in Joseph’s film, Ziv and Gali Berman, are among the 20 hostages being released alive today.
