The artist's path is rarely a straight line. I studied music and graphic design in college before discovering the camera. That discovery led to a 30+ yr career shooting photographs including icons NWA and Taylor Swift before their careers took off. My work as appeared in Vogue, NY Times and other top publications and in 2021 my retrospective 96° in the Shade sold out as NFTs on release and has 90+ ETH market cap. Since 2023 I've been working in AI and generative art, selling over 1500 1/1s, and have recently launched CERA, the world's first and only AI powered mentorship platform for artists. Con Jobs is my latest public art project speaking truth to power through absurdist poetry. Don't let anyone ever tell you to stay in your lane.

Last week @jalilwahdat shipped a fix to one of the most famous, storied, and misunderstood bugs in web3/eth/nft history - the ability to safely trade unwrapped @v1punks. For 9 years this has not been possible, and now it is. It's a remarkable achievement. As a sign of gratitude a number of people are pooling eth to purchase the V1 token for Jalil's Cryptopunk from the original claimer to gift to him and reunite the V1🤝V2 pair. Seemed like that would be a nice gesture. To facilitate this a I whipped up a little contract that accepts eth (in this case to 0xD7C988727bc47fDCC550F15062286B124f37033D ) up until the goal it met, and refunds anything above that. If the goal isn't met by a set deadline (in this case, end of the month) everyone gets their eth back. Launched this yesterday and it just passed 50% funded. We could have just had everyone send eth to someone, but thought a trustless contract solution would be more in the spirit of the event, and also now this is available for anyone to use for anything else, with no fees. If you like to throw in something send eth from a wallet you control (not an exchage) to the address above. To see progress or make your own pool, check out etherpool.app or if you want to fork it and do it differently, code is open github.com/seanbonner/eth…

You might see Meebits Fútbol and think it’s just Sergito making stuff for his inner child. And honestly, yes. There’s definitely that. But it’s also our attempt to show Meebits as foundational IP that moves across digital and physical worlds, experiments with new product formats, and stays anchored by NFTs at the center.

Seems like I’m only a valued community member when people want me to buy their art. Will be stepping back from Twitter for the foreseeable future. It’s been a fun few years.

Building an AR web app with Claude code. It activates the original Moments of the Unknown video artworks, overlaying them directly onto silkscreen paintings to reintroduce the source material they were created from. Digital meets physical in the most harmonious way 🎥🎞️🖼️✨

Surround yourself with art! Art brings so much joy to life. A way to synthesize emotions and feelings from the pains in the world and of being in a human body. To celebrate life, to come to terms with death, to communicate with the world through our thoughts and ideas. To connect to oneself and others. A life of art is a life of beauty and friendships. In the studio we set the paintings to dry after the silkscreen sessions. And at the same time preparing the next batch of paintings to be made! We built a system and are consumed by the paint. Surrounded by the art like a dream that came true as we are still dreaming the dream to continue on this creative path. A dream that only ends when you stop believing. Dream big, and endlessly grow! What’s a life of art without visiting a few new openings in your city? Whether it’s Chelsea, or Tribeca, and the lower east side. It’s important to see more art and educate oneself. Old and new, trad and dig, it’s all one non-linear timeline of creativity and visual language. Viktoria and I saw Helen Frankenthaller at @Gagosian and were sublimed by awe and wonder as we gazed into the formless and colorful abstract paintings that brought out perspectives of city skylines and mythical visions. One painting felt so aquatic it’s if I was a fish swimming in a fish tank. Vija Celmins at @MatthewMarks was a special treat to see. Her waves are not photographs, they are photo realistic illustrations! She also draws the stars like you are looking through the Hubble telescope. The first and last time I ever saw her work was in Basel, Switzerland at the Foundation Beyler with her entire oeuvre from drawings to sculptures. With a great group of artists and collectors! IYKYK Mark Manders at @TanyaBonakdar immersed us into his poetic, minimal, and a paradoxical fictional world. In blending the past, present, and future as it exists simultaneously where gravity is both emphasized and defied. He plays with the boundaries between painting and sculptures permeability. The press release states “language is simultaneously all-powerful and insufficient”

Spotted in the NYC subway. “Zero screen time.” An iPod Shuffle ad in 2026. When we built the iPod, the goal was the technology disappeared and you could have your music wherever you were. 1,000 songs in your pocket. Now we’re living through a moment where people are actively looking for ways to disconnect from the infinite feed, algos, and constant notifications. That doesn’t mean technology is bad. It means the best technology understands when to step back. Not every problem needs another screen, another menu, or another layer of complexity. Constraints create freedom (read: @DavidEpstein new book Inside the Box). And often removing features creates a better product than adding them. The future of technology shouldn’t just be more engagement. It should help us be more human.

Starting today and throughout Frieze New York, works by me and Robert Longo (!) will appear in 30 locations across Manhattan as wheatpaste posters -- part of Take One Action, a citywide public art campaign that's all about rallying together, paying attention, and staying civically engaged through the midterms. Presented by Art at a Time Like This, the wonderful nonprofit founded by Barbara Pollack and Anne Verhallen, whose work inspired me and so many others throughout the pandemic. Here's to art and community in tough times!

Today is a difficult day for me. The news about my mother are not good, and at the same time, because I needed my British passport to travel urgently, I had to send away my French passport for the application process… such a bad timing Everything feels tangled and heavy right now. Take care of you friends and of your loved ones ❤️

Looking forward to having these babies framed. What do you say, are these a Triptych? And if so 1-2-3 2-1-3 3-1-2 or 2-3-1?
