The artist's path is rarely a straight line. I studied music and graphic design in college before discovering the camera. That discovery led to a 30+ yr career shooting photographs including icons NWA and Taylor Swift before their careers took off. My work as appeared in Vogue, NY Times and other top publications and in 2021 my retrospective 96° in the Shade sold out as NFTs on release and has 90+ ETH market cap. Since 2023 I've been working in AI and generative art, selling over 1500 1/1s, and have recently launched CERA, the world's first and only AI powered mentorship platform for artists. When you put so much work into something it is incredibly validating when other people resonate with it. WINDOWS is having a big moment on IG, actually the most distribution my art has ever reached. So grateful for all the support here, and there, for something that took me many years to make, all along the way having no idea if anyone would even get it. Happy to see that others can understand what I was going for!

GM 🤍 Mum’s final days feel more painful today, and perhaps that is why every absence feels heavier too. I am losing my mother, and in the process, I am seeing my life and my relationships differently. I don’t want to blame anyone. I don’t want to decide anything today. But grief reveals distances. For now, I am simply trying to stay close to what is real: love, tenderness, and the people who are here.

i spent my time at @HitoSteyerl’s “the island” at fondazione prada marveling at steyerl’s adept media montage as a kind of operatic genre, pushing pathos deliberately into bathos so fully it becomes pathos again. i really loved this show, especially having written poems many years back on the immortal jellyfish, turritopsis dohrnii, and having thought a lot about AI and voice/choir/opera through the lens of folks like @hollyherndon @matdryhurst @kalladomcdowell @Reeps1. artificial islands, scientists, quantum physics, archeologists, singers, poetry, flash gordon, fake youtube ads, cinema seats, and the description of jellyfish as “wings of ink”… just so deeply clever.
