@menghsueh_lin It's not a bad thing I think! Paying to win just doesn't seem right. Have people play the game to get rewards so that anyone is able to acquire better gear/cards etc to improve their game. Keep things like lootboxes purely cosmetic ✨

@Rvdwinden I think we're gonna have similar laws in the future here - more about being transparent in those probabilities in the games.

@menghsueh_lin I'm not entirely sure actually! It's the gacha aspect of the game. And the paying for lootboxes with random rewards. Which can be used for playing others, increasing the incentive to buy more boxes I think.

@menghsueh_lin Nope 🥲 The game won't release in the Netherlands because of our laws around lootboxes within games. Which is weird since our country promotes gambling like crazy on other fronts.

I took @alexxgrigg's Animation Basecamp, and one lesson made me ponder on the concept of WEIGHT. I realized I hadn’t fully internalized it, and how it relates to FORCE. After some research, I came up with my own answer:
