Today, Prime Minister Nsengiyumva held a press conference on Rwanda’s economic performance and the implications of the Middle East crisis. Their discussion focused on strengthening collaboration between Rwanda and the @unirmct.

Yesterday, Minister @onduhungirehe received H.E. Gilles Cerutti, Ambassador of Switzerland to Rwanda. They discussed ways to further strengthen bilateral cooperation between the two countries.

This morning, we welcomed a high-level delegation from 3 European universities under the @EDUCUniverCity Alliance, led by Prof. István Tarrósy from University of Pécs #Hungary. Discussions focused on unlocking new avenues for collaboration, particularly with @UCmhs and @urcst ; building on the success of Regional Centre of Excellence in #Vaccines, Biomedical Engineering, and other flagship initiatives such as MAV+. These efforts are key catalysts in advancing medical and vaccine research, viral epidemiology, and effective outbreak response. The delegation was received by Vice Chancellor Kayihura Didas, in the presence of Ms Zsófia Antal, Chargé d’Affaires at the Embassy of Hungary in #Rwanda.

This evening at Amahoro Stadium, President Kagame joined tens of thousands of fans to watch as Amavubi, Rwanda’s National Team, defeated the Estonian National Team 2-0, in the #FIFASeries2026 Group A Finals. Leroy-Jacques Mickels from Rwanda was honored as Best Player of the international friendlies tournament that brought together Rwanda, Estonia, Kenya, and Grenada.
