We as Christians support Israel based on a studied understanding of Scripture, pointing to God’s ongoing covenant with Israel (Romans 11) and His faithfulness to His promises. Faithful Christians can still disagree on this, but it is not a matter of ignorance.

So Joe Kent @joekent16jan19 resigns from his position as Director of the National Counter Terrorism Center in an anti-Jewish letter that attacks President Trump and accuses Trump of being controlled by Israel, and in less than 12 hours, Kent is booked to appear on @TuckerCarlson’s show and is now speaking at the Catholics for Catholics event alongside @RealCandaceO and @CarriePrejean1, both of whom refer to Jews as the “synagogue of Satan” and both of whom have suggested President Trump is a pedophile? This is who @TulsiGabbard had working for her as her interim Chief of Staff? Very alarming. How long was Kent coordinating this public resignation? How many people was he working with to do this? This was beyond premeditated. How many of these deranged Jew obsessed conspiracy theorists work at @ODNIgov? Candace Owens has suggested with zero evidence that Trump had Charlie Kirk killed. This is a good example of how defamation works in the modern age, and why it’s not as simple as “just sue them.” The person in this recording is absolutely not Erika. It couldn’t even be Erika because she was like 16 at the time of this recording. And yet this account, amplified by bigger accounts like Ian Carroll, has made this claim recklessly and with malicious disregard for the truth. Can Erika sue over it? Does she have any recourse at all? Sure, she can sue. I hope she does. But in order to win a lawsuit she’d have to prove that this person posted this nonsense knowing it wasn’t true, and then she’d probably have to prove damages, and then she’d have to hope that the broke assholes who posted and amplified it actually have the funds to pay, which they don’t. And all of this will take a long time, years potentially, to sort itself out in court. Even if she wins, it won’t make a difference to the people who’ve already decided that she’s some kind of cartoon villain. They’ll just use the fact of the lawsuit as proof that Erika “has something to hide.” Meanwhile she will have only further highlighted and called attention to the very lies she’s trying to rectify in court. So in other words, it’s the ultimate lose-lose scenario. I’ve experienced much smaller versions of this. People who engage in outright open defamation, slandering my character with totally manufactured lies, and yet I don’t sue for all the reasons above. It’s total bullshit. The upshot is that the slanderers and defamers basically have carte blanche to lie about you and destroy your reputation. Your only recourse is costly, takes a long time, and may damage your reputation even more.

The Detroit-area shooting this morning wasn't just at a "synagogue." It was also at a daycare, a preschool, and a kindergarten. So 5-year-olds, toddlers, infants. That was THEIR playground at the spot of the shooting. Yet Tucker Carlson will continue inciting his followers, intentionally lying that Israel — because of Chabad — is planning to destroy Al-Aqsa Mosque to rebuild the Third Temple. Candace Owens will still prattle on about Jews being "filthy" or the "Synagogue of Satan," or that "Israel" will unleash an army of "Satanic p*dophiles." And Megyn Kelly, well, she'll wag her finger and get indignant... at what "people are doing to Candace" and Tucker. For good measure, she'll probably find a way to blame Israel. Not speculation, mind you, because she has blamed Israel for the surge in anti-Semitism after October 7, 2023. This is a scourge. And these ghouls will get more innocent people killed. Worst part is that they know it. They just don't care. As long as they get their clicks and keep they're clout, it will be full steam ahead.
