Dominic Smith’s walk-off grand slam tonight comes 13 days after his mother passed away after battling cancer. He remained in Braves camp after her passing. He said he could feel her presence tonight.

I knew Jon and you went to Tech. I was a huge fan of you, I watched a ton of your games. Did you guys play the same time? I grew up in Indiana and our PG who I had to guard in practice everyday, who was top 3 players in the state, played just like you, a lefty too. Is Jon on twitter? I haven’t talked to him in over 20 years. True story, he was going to take me to Lake Tahoe for a celebrity golf tournament and we were paired with Jordan. I caddied for Steve Javie too. Jon told me I had to pay for my flight and he had everything else taken care of, javie was giving him crap for making me book my own flight, I didn’t give a 💩, the next week he broke his wrist in a game and we couldn’t go. I’m still devastated. I know it would be impossible to remember, but I bet if you said Ryno said what’s up, your old caddie, he would laugh his ass off. Loved that guy!
