@gudladme @EFL Agree totally. “Be careful what you wish for”. For all TS faults, he’s been a solid custodian of the club, it would be very easy for our championship seasons to cause long term financial trouble and he’s generally steered us well.

Not heard anything to confirm the takeover rumours. If it is true, please @EFL vet these people thoroughly and make sure they have the club’s best interest at heart. Sorry to be sensible and pragmatic, but for #RUFC, this has to be right

Grew up in coal country. Never thought I’d see any party but Labour in power round here. We were told it was permanent. In my lifetime they delivered what, exactly? @Joshshawhart Definitely seems that way based on all the news articles. I wouldn’t mind him being behind the scenes as an advisor but we need a modern young manager with fresh ideas. Games changed drastically in 10 years (for better or worse).

@miller83862 Weird the Rob Scott hate. Players haven’t performed and poor management. Scott was the guy who brought in all of the over performing players of the last 6-8 years. Ogbene, Smith, Crookes, Barlaser, Rathbone to name a few. We need a manager and not a coach. Genuinely that easy.

@rufc_news Of course there are budget cuts. We are going to play in league 2. Also, football clubs are not exempt from the costs increases everyone else is. We need to be really smart with outgoings, it’s a business.

@Callum__RUFC We’ve been in the champ for 7 seasons in the modern era. 6 under TS. We have always been a L2-L1 club. You have only seen a successful Rotherham - we are having a bad few years but it’s not purely TS fault. So many clubs are struggling. Just look how many want new owners.
