I put a full pot's worth of very coarse ground into a french press, steep with very hot water for about 15 minutes, pour it into a thermos which fills it about half way, and fill it tye rest of the way with cold water so it's a drinkable temp when I get to work. The more bitter the better, I can't put anything else in it.

Cannabis should never have been illegal, the new scheduling idea isn't far enough. Psychedelics are also not really something I take issue with. I think there is a huge disconnect with these things. I believe that there is an expectation about them engrained, or dare I say indoctrinated, into us by societal institutions which aren't consistent with reality. I frequently read assertions about how this drug or that drug is worse than it realistically is, or does a thing to people that it clearly does not, made by people who stay as far away from it as possible by avoiding it personally and shunning those who did not avoid it and have no real first-hand or second-hand experience with the subject matter. I don't think these things are for everyone, but most of the complaints and falsities I read people saying are misunderstandings and equating correlation to causation.

The reason is brutally simple: the Pentagon burned through too many munitions in Iran. The numbers are staggering. Over 1,000 Tomahawk cruise missiles fired since February 28th. Between 1,500 and 2,000 air-defense interceptors expended, including Thaad, Patriot, and Standard Missiles. CSIS estimates the war consumed 27% of the Tomahawk stockpile, 36% of JASSM, half of SM-3 interceptors, two-thirds of Patriot stocks, and more than 80% of Thaad interceptors.
