Alright kids, buckle up. Here's why BvP is completely, 100% meaningless. Even if you think a certain batter "sees" a certain pitcher well, or his swing plane matches the pitch plane well, or any other plausible explanation for it, the fact is we're dealing with sample sizes too small. And that's not lip service. If a batter is 5-for-10 against a pitcher for a legitimate reason, there will be 10 others just like him that are 5-for-10 by random chance. By trying to be "right" about that one guy, you wind up being wrong about many others. You wind up being less accurate and less profitable if you're trying to use this for betting. You simply can't separate the legitimate guys from the random guys, which makes the entire exercise... yes, meaningless.

@BryceMauro This is literally the point of the platform. It surfaces the most likely outcome. Big money aggregates toward what’s true, and the market is better off knowing it, even if insiders profit along the way. Extrapolate that out to way bigger events and it’s a net positive for truth.

A Google insider has officially been exposed on Polymarket. This dude just profited $1,000,000 in a single day betting on the Google search markets. Google accidentally pushed the results early, then removed them, but not before it revealed he went 22/23 on his bets and ballooned to $3.9M in open positions. This isn’t a lucky streak. He previously made $150K+ predicting the early release of Gemini 3.0 before results were out. At this point it’s obvious: He’s a Google insider milking Polymarket for quick money. It’s one of the wildest things I’ve seen on the platform

The Florida State program is rotten. Not cracked. Not slipping. Rotting from the core outward. What used to be one of the most prestigious, intimidating brands in college football has decayed into a hollow shell wearing its own merchandise. It needs a full extermination and a complete reboot from the bottom up. A once great powerhouse is now a fucking laughingstock clinging to memories and aiming for mediocrity like it’s an accomplishment.
This isn’t just bad coaching or a down recruiting cycle. This is cultural rot. Standards evaporated. Accountability vanished. Leadership got comfortable collecting checks while the product on the field got softer, lazier, and more unserious by the season. The identity that once terrified opponents is gone, replaced by excuses, slogans, and empty promises.
If Florida State ever wants to return to real glory and dominance, it needs more than a new coach or a new scheme. It needs a scorched earth rebuild. Rip out the complacency. Replant the foundation with toughness, discipline, and non-negotiable standards. Demand greatness again in recruiting, in development, in preparation, in every rep. Restore fear. Restore pride. Restore the expectation that anything short of elite is failure.
Until that happens, the Noles will keep pretending they’re a contender while everyone else laughs. But with the right culture reset, the beast can wake up again, and fast.
