Twitch is a scam. They have been around for almost 20 years in total and still tell creators to go make content, post it to the sites with actual discovery, get millions of views, funnel people back over to the platform and as a result of YOU building their site they take the largest cut out of any platform all while constantly coming out with bad update after bad update. Not profitable? That’s fine just take more from the creators. Can’t keep advertisers? Just force more unskippable ads. In 2026 you have to be the top 0.5% to earn over $1000 a month there. It has the largest statistical chance of failing as a creator. But hey, as long as they keep selling the dream, people will still keep buying it though..
