From the opening tip, it was crystal clear that #10 Daniel Wiggington (@DWigginton10) was operating on a different frequency, and the gym felt it immediately as his energy and nonstop motor were off the charts, flying into passing lanes, crashing the boards, pushing tempo, and applying suffocating pressure before MPCA could even blink. He seemed to be everywhere at once, causing chaos on both ends while still playing under control, and that rare blend of fire and poise allowed him to dictate the flow instead of chasing it. In the first quarter, Berean Christian Academy was tested and forced to weather a storm, but Daniel was the tone setter from the jump, competing with edge and confidence as they grabbed a 20-15 lead after one. By the second quarter, the momentum picked up completely as Berean started heating up and raced out to a commanding 48-23 halftime lead, fueled by sharp ball movement, defensive pressure, and a rhythm that felt contagious the moment Daniel got rolling. And he got rolling in a big way. Daniel finished with 28 points with smooth touch and fearless swagger, scoring at will from all three levels as he went from downhill attacker to pull-up assassin with a buzzer-beating triple without missing a beat. He was electric off the bounce, carving through defenders like a hot knife through country butter, slicing gaps, finishing through contact, and rising with confidence that left defenders guessing and reaching. But this was not just a scoring show, he was a playmaker dropping 4 sweet dimes along the way, creating opportunities for himself and his teammates with calm reads and sharp vision. On the boards, he was relentless, gobbling up 10 rebounds to secure a strong double-double built on grit and timing. Defensively, he was a menace with instinct and anticipation that jumped off the page as he picked pockets with ease, jumped passing lanes, and turned defense into instant offense on his way to 6 steals and 2 blocks. The bounce was there, along with timing and hunger. Every play carried purpose. By the final horn, Berean had smashed MPCA 70-44 with most of the bench logging heavy minutes down the stretch, and Daniel’s stat line screamed dominance: 28 points, 10 rebounds, 6 steals, 4 assists, 2 blocks in a performance that stuffed the stat sheet. He was not alone in the fireworks as #33 Cody Staniafer added 14 points, 9 rebounds, and 2 blocks to anchor the interior presence, while MPCA was led by #1 Koltyn Felsch who battled for 17 points, but when Berean gets rolling like this they are flat out fun to watch because the chemistry pops, the ball zips, every player can score which keeps defenses honest, and as a team they rebound with edge and crank up the defensive heat to spark momentum swinging runs in a flash. There is budding young talent on this roster worth tracking closely, but Daniel Wiggington is cut from a different cloth, and it shows in the way he competes, produces, and elevates everyone around him. Any coach sleeping on this hidden gem is missing the boat, because he will be a steal for whoever lands him, and nights like this are proof that he does not just play the game, he tilts it. @Coach_Jordan4
