I bought a small business July 2023 - some thoughts on my experience, mistakes I made and the current SMB/ETA world:
The biz I bought violates most of the current “guru” buy box - heavily owner dependent, no SOPs, very seasonal.
TAKEAWAY: Find a flawed opportunity that you can fix the flaw easily rather than wait for the perfectly packaged unicorn
