California’s rural and agricultural communities have lost a long-time champion. @RepLaMalfa will be greatly missed.

Jacquie and I are devastated about the sudden loss of our friend, Congressman Doug LaMalfa. Doug was a loving father and husband, and staunch advocate for his constituents and rural America. Our prayers are with Doug’s wife, Jill, and their children.

Not only do we celebrate #FlagDay🇺🇸 today, but it also marks CEO Ryan Jacobsen’s 2️⃣0️⃣th “workiversary” at #FCFB!🌱 Hired on this date back in 2004 as the membership coordinator, Ryan has had a chance to do it all. He became the organization’s issues coordinator (governmental affairs position) in mid-2005 and was promoted to CEO on July 1, 2006, the position in which he still serves. Ryan is thankful for the support of the FCFB Board of Directors, FCFB members and the many community members who have supported and worked with him over the years. He considers it a tremendous honor to represent the world’s best and brightest farmers and ranchers via one of the most recognizable agricultural organizations in the nation.
