Stephen McCullagh was convicted of murdering his pregnant partner Natalie McNally on Monday.
It took a jury just two hours to return a guilty verdict at Laganside court.
McCullagh initially evaded police interest due to his alibi of a six-hour YouTube gaming stream from his home.
But as The Irish News' Conor Coyle explains, detectives eventually cracked the code of the fake 'live' stream which led to McCullagh's conviction.

Actor Éanna Hardwicke has said he would “happily become a local” after filming in Belfast, describing it as “the greatest city… second only to Cork”.
The award-winning actor was speaking at Belfast’s Odeon at the local premiere of No Ordinary Heist, in which he plays bank employee Chris Ward.
The film, shot in Belfast and Dublin, is inspired by the 2004 Northern Bank robbery - the largest cash heist in UK and Irish history.

A group of schoolkids from Co Armaghhave gone viral after treating commuters on the London Underground to some traditional music ahead of St Patrick’s Day.
The pupils from St Paul’s High School in Bessbrook were in London for a series of events to celebrate Ireland’s patron saint, including taking part in the city’s parade and performing at the Houses of Parliament.
