Super hyped for March of the Machines. Not sold on during the final of a Pro Tour and a week-ish after Phyrexia released being the best time to start previewing the set though.

Found out that Chess Boxing is a thing. The players go back and forth between rounds of chess and boxing until someone gets knocked out or checkmated, which got me wondering. What if there was an MTG Boxing Pro Tour? Who would win?

Sword #9! While probably outside the top tier of the cycle, impulse draw two and ramp is actually way more powerful than I expected for a Sword of X and Y in Standard. Seems pretty playable in Standard and also Commander.

@mtgaaron Maybe people are tired of the increasingly shameless cash grab. It’s a game many love and there’s longer lasting investments that just make more sense than putting 400 plus dollars into a format we can only play like once a week at Fnm for a year or so
