@jake12_s @Arrogance_0024 In 2016 when Iran captured 10 American soldiers who strayed into their waters on two armed boats they were held for 16 hours and returned to the US. There's no guarantee of torture for pow, but maybe the US should stop yelling "no quarter" if they want that in kind.

@Arrogance_0024 So we should just leave a WSO to be tortured, disemboweled and publicly bled out with parts of him sent to his loved ones with bombs in the package? That’s the kind of shit that would happen. French ignorance never ceases to amaze me.

The "leave no man behind" doctrine is actually a strategic weakness disguised as a virtue. Name one other military on earth that destroys 6 aircraft and fights a ground battle inside a sovereign nation to recover one pilot. You can't. Because no other military confuses tactical sentimentality with strategic logic. Soldiers serve the mission. The mission doesn't serve the soldier. The US has now established that Iran can shoot down an F-15, then watch America spend $300M and expose Delta Force trying to prove it didn't happen. That's not military doctrine. That's politics with weapons. A military that cannot accept the risk of loss cannot win wars. The US hasn't won one since 1945.
Daniel Foubert 🇵🇱🇫🇷@Arrogance_0024

Lose all this to rescue 1 pilot and call it your greatest military success of all time.

@CanadaGoose911 Alberta built a refinery it cost almost 10 billion (5billion over budget) took 8 years (3 years late) and the provincial government had to save the project half way through by buying half of it. It produces fuel and sells for the highest price they can squeeze out of consumers.

@TheDPitz @BladeoftheS Wind turbine blades can be recycled. The problem is the materials are such low value that there's no reason to spend the energy. Grind them up and use them as filler in cements and other building materials is more practical.

@BladeoftheS The turbine blades cannot be recycled. They end up in landfills. Plus the massive gear box used by the turbines requires regular maintenance and specialty petroleum based lubricants.

Solar panels work for 40-60 years. Wind Turbines work for 25 years, at which point they only need their blades replacing, 5% of the cost, the actual turbine will last for centuries by which point it will be completely outdated. Fossil fuel defenders only have lies.
Stokdog@stokdog

Renewable is a lie. Wind & solar hardware is non-renewable garbage. Build once for trillions. Works ~20 years if you're lucky. Then dead. That's your "green" future. ONE BIG SCAM. Hit ♥️ if you agree

@YourFriendlyApe @brent_bellamy @KobraProjekt @Jamesb928 Its hard to say what they actually want. They like money. Lower production and higher prices increases their funds and prolongs the viability of their reserves. Stability is their main goal. A higher price is okay to them if it was stable, but not high enough to push green alts.

@YourFriendlyApe @brent_bellamy @KobraProjekt @Jamesb928 The numbers would have to be huge to be noticeable. Let's say you doubled oil production in Canada tomorrow and add about 5% more oil to the global market. At $110 per barrel you'll see it come down a couple dollars. Canada already has record levels of production...

@bluewmist Decent office chair. Mine's a Herman Miller Mira. Can't even bear to think about the original price tag, but considering how many thousands of hours I've sat in it since I bought it 15 years ago, I'd say it must be close to amortised by now.

@JuliaWongCBC Flying all over for my job I haven't noticed any differences between airlines, whether seat pitch, bagage, or customer service, they are all the same. I fly Westjet, Flair, Air Canada, United, American, and Volaris in Mexico. Maybe overseas flights might be different.

Transport Canada had been warned about an “imminent safety risk” with WestJet’s reconfigured planes, weeks before social media videos of the seating layout went viral, documents obtained by CBC News say. The exclusive details here: cbc.ca/news/canada/ed…

@VignattiJo23661 @GlobalIJournal That’s a nice cope line and all, but you can’t turn a non-stealth plane into a stealth plane. Missles and Sam’s make anything non-stealth entirely pointless. The plane was defeated before it ever left the drawing board.

@erikkain He's going up to 31mph (someone posted a screenshot in your comments). According to the guy in the blue shirt, it had gone on for a few days and we don't know how fast Ritchson was going before this video.

So it's pretty clear he's going under 25mph, which I assume is under the 25mph speed limit. It's crazy that this guy just steps out in front of him like this. A bit of irony that he keeps saying "it's all on camera" given Ritchson had a bodycam going the whole time. And does this dude have a motorcycle parked out front of his house?

😳 "Reacher" star Alan Ritchson's body cam footage of his bloody fight with his neighbor is released.

The reality of Mark Carney: Mark Carney is a WEF globalist that's lived outside of Canada for 20-25 years of his life. He is on record stating that he is a European Citizen. More than 90% of his investments are in the USA. Less than 2% of his investments are in Canada. He's only visiting Canada to promote his Woke Net Zero WEF globalist agenda and cares nothing for Canadians. Once Carney is voted out he won't stick around and will leave Canada soon after, using one of his three passports. You'll note that he already spends as little time in Canada as he can get away with.

@nazzobetweeting Airlines need to start making people actually fit their suitcase in the measuring device. Check all of them that dont fit. On my last flight a guy had a roller bag so large they couldn't get fit it into the empty overhead bin. I pay to check a bag, I put my small bag in the bin.

@political_busy @timesmith912 @Whale_Guru They're talking about potash. The US imports 90-95% of its yearly needs. 80-90% of that comes from Canada. It's a mined product so it's not easy to just make more. Despite crazy trade threats and tarrifs, we haven't attacked back by cutting off supply or applying export taxes.

@David_Moscrop Bit tough to feel for any of our political leaders when taxpayers are already footing a $5B price tag to upgrade their 'offices'.... the place where some of them spend so little time working. When they build an $8 MILLION 'garage', it's hard to trust their carte blanche budgets.

Liberals are poised to win all 3 of the upcoming by elections giving them a majority. In addition, there’s at least 1 more CPC MP who is preparing to cross the aisle and join the surge of support for the Liberals. All helping to avoid a costly and unnecessary general election.

@IHMadeThis @THEHORRORGOTH Yeah but it resonates through he film and guides the decisions of characters. Like when he says no to letting the white (vampires) in because what happens if there's a normal fight and one gets hurt then they bring the police down on them.
