After Putin’s meeting with Trump in Alaska, U.S. fighter jets escorted his aircraft until it left American airspace. It may look like routine security protocol, but it wasn’t. The U.S. knows very well what the consequences would be if anything happened to Putin in its airspace.

@Arrogance_0024 So we should just leave a WSO to be tortured, disemboweled and publicly bled out with parts of him sent to his loved ones with bombs in the package? That’s the kind of shit that would happen. French ignorance never ceases to amaze me.

The "leave no man behind" doctrine is actually a strategic weakness disguised as a virtue. Name one other military on earth that destroys 6 aircraft and fights a ground battle inside a sovereign nation to recover one pilot. You can't. Because no other military confuses tactical sentimentality with strategic logic. Soldiers serve the mission. The mission doesn't serve the soldier. The US has now established that Iran can shoot down an F-15, then watch America spend $300M and expose Delta Force trying to prove it didn't happen. That's not military doctrine. That's politics with weapons. A military that cannot accept the risk of loss cannot win wars. The US hasn't won one since 1945.

Lose all this to rescue 1 pilot and call it your greatest military success of all time.

Dear Basketball Fans, this is a safe space. What do you think about Geno Auriemma skipping the post game handshake with Dawn Staley after UConn lost to South Carolina?

And what is the five time draft dodging traitor who is forcing this unconstitutional reality upon our heroic troops doing while their families brace for the unthinkable? He is bragging about a ballroom. A fucking ballroom.

@A7_Mirza Don't know that, all we can say is it was hit and the missile exploded. On other footage we can also see it clearly loses altitude right after the hit Not likely minor damage

🇺🇸✈️💥 A clear video of an F/A-18 fighter jet being intercepted in the skies over Chabahar. As seen in the footage, the air defense missile detonates in close proximity to the aircraft, and the fighter jet escapes the danger with minimal damage, fleeing the area... #Iran #US

🇺🇸✈️💥 A #US F/A-18 Super Hornet fighter jet was struck by a MANPAD missile in the skies over Chabahar in southeastern #Iran. 👉 The fighter jet, after being damaged managed to flee the area and likely made its way to air bases in Arab countries for an emergency landing.

The last time America fought a war with the goal of unconditional surrender of an objectively evil enemy was 1945. Ever since we have never--not once, not even Gulf War I--fought a war with the goal of achieving total victory. Until Donald Trump and Iran. Americans used to understand that if you were going to fight, you fight to win. But think about that year--1945. That means that the only living Americans with a recollection of fighting to win are close to or over 100 years of age. Victory is not understood by most Americans. Couple that with our risk-averse, feminized, coddled contemporary society and it's easy to understand why soft men like this abhor victory over objective evil and the costs associated with it, and would rather tear down their own country and undermine the men and women fighting on his behalf.

Didn’t choose to start? Iran has been funding Hezbollah for decades and supported Hamas in the Oct 7th attacks. They have directly and indirectly murdered thousands of civilians and US military since 1979. This war is nothing more than a long overdue direct US retaliation.
Launch! - Blue Haired Liberal@DBZYuYuYasha

@elliotreports @sentdefender Why would Iran launch against US military bases when their drones would just get shot down. Of course they are going to launch against civilian targets because that is their only means of violent retaliation in a war they didn't choose to start.

In 1944, the USS Johnston went down fighting the Imperial Japanese Navy in the Battle of Samar. It had taken a lot of fire and had started to split apart. The captain ordered his men to abandon ship. As they climbed into lifeboats, it is said that a Japanese crew sailed by and
