The Rockets this season have blown the largest overtime lead in NBA history. They’ve blown a 25 point third quarter lead to a team that hadn’t won a single game over a team above 0.500 at the time. They lost a game where they were up 18 in the 4th with 9 minutes left. They’ve now blown a 6 point lead in 30 seconds while having possession of the ball. I can go on and on. There’s way more than this. At a certain point you have to look the head coach right in the eyes and make the decision that’s right for future of this team.
