Liberal economics tells us this isn't possible because the landlords will compete with each other to lower prices, in reality landlords aren't stupid enough to start self-ruinous price wars and instinctively understand that the tenants are the enemy!

My last rent increase was because the landlord noticed that the market rate for the area had gone up Not because his costs went up, but because other landlords were charging more in my area and my landlord felt left out and thought I should pay him more for the same thing

upteenth rewatch of Babylon 5, & gotta say Capt Lochley in the fifth & final season played by Tracy Scoggins was a real head scratcher on the part of JMS. maybe she just didnt get enough screen time but her defense of siding with a fascist in Earth's Civil War is unconvincing

I think this is why AI is the chosen aesthetic of the right wing. No one wants to make their garbage and they can't do it themselves. So they ask a machine to be creative for them. Fwiw i have never seen the Boys and likely won't ever. But watching the right be big mad is funny.
