Let Manchester United players go and represent their countries in the international break. They have been resting a lot plus they can also use this opportunity to fly out of England. Our players are tired.

The most embarrassing tonight isn’t even us losing 2-0, it’s United fans who are City’s biggest local rivals celebrating as if they’ve won the Carabao Cup too, what a sad sad institution and mentally disturbed fans

@TheFinPitch @TouchlineX Yeah, not sure why they bothered playing. Should have just said Bournemouth has been beating Man United lately so shall we call it a draw? Tell them for next time will you, they probably didn't think of it.

@Fintolini It is completely accurate. A subjective decision requires interpretation and is based on personal opinion. Cunha requires interpretation and is based on personal opinion. Very few would say Cunha is not a penalty which is key, because that means it's not in the grey area.

There are degrees of subjectivity. For instance and as stated, Maguire and Evanilson are in the grey zone. Cunha is still subjective but absolutely a penalty.
Jon@jonmufc44

@DaleJohnsonBBC @sistoney67 This is very silly. Every penalty decision is subjective.

Personally I think neither should be penalties. So there we go.
Jack Connor@JSWC1995

@DaleJohnsonBBC Dale come off it they are both clear penalties, only difference is United would have gone 2-0 up had VAR done it's job.

But he literally can. They are subjective situations and it's entirely possible to think one is a penalty and the other is not.
Aaron Williams@Brownplaydo1984

@DaleJohnsonBBC End of the day the Ref can't say it wasn't a penalty at one end but is at the other end both are pens end of but at 2-0 if United get the penalty they should of it's game over

@Footballtweet Depends on whether the ref and VAR want to give it. Sometimes they will, sometimes not. That is the current state of the @FA_PGMOL unfortunately. They are there to create controversies and drive engagement with content, at the expense of sporting integrity.

11 out of 16 assists of Bruno Fernandes this season are from corner kicks.. You want them to give him player of the year for corner assists...........

@superstaryas7 @Ryca77 @Mike87_United Do you know the laws? Handball will only be pulled if its the goalscorer, mings wasn't the scorer, (blame your board as they voted for that) Ball never touched him Take the loss, your crying for no reason, supporting a shit team and a terrorist state 👍

Still don’t understand how or why this was allowed to stand? Onana is offside, how can he not be impacting the play when the balls hitting him/skimming his arse? You’ve seen far less clear examples than this where goals are ruled out for players standing offside impacting GK’s.

@TimmyB1957 @Mike87_United That explains it. The interesting thing with that is 'attempting to play the ball'. What about attempting to not play the ball, like getting out of the way of it? What makes that not interfering with play? If he doesn't move, the ball hits him. His movement enables the goal.

@Mike87_United It has to do with two things: line of vision (not at all, as the pic shows), becoming "active" by either touching the ball or attempting to play the ball. Again, nothing there. We went to sleep for ten minutes after the Casemiro goal and got what we deserved.

@Mike87_United Do you need reading lessons to understand the law? He is not in the keepers eye line, keeper has clear view Just because he's in a offside position doesn't mean there has been an offence committed 👍

@Ryca77 @AdamJoseph @FA_PGMOL For me if he’s that close it’s interfering because the keeper has to try and save the shot, not knowing the player is offside and may try and redirect it

Cunha's goal doesn't change anything, by the way. Last time I checked, being in an offside position & moving out of the way of the ball, contact or not, affects the goalkeepers ability to save the shot. This is not a complicated decision to overturn. What the fuck @FA_PGMOL!?
Adam tweet mediaAdam tweet media
Adam@AdamJoseph

That goal should not stand. Two reasons to rule it out. The handball from Mings & offside/interference from Onana, clearly in an offside position. It affects Lammens' balance in how he attempts to save the Ross Barkley shot. How on Earth is that given? x.com/spacemomentboo…

@robbiep808x @MikeNasser91 Fair enough, it's good to have different perspectives. Not convinced on the boredom thing though. For me it's more to do with purpose, productivity and a sense of achievement, rather than needing something to occupy time.

@Ryca77 @MikeNasser91 Boredom is fulfilling. The resistance you have to it means you spend way to much time relying on consistent stimuli, your addicted to the noise. Ive done the airbnb, hotel, conferrence and centro historico emmersion and now going out into the villages to see the other side.

Unavoidable things in El Salvador: 1) forced to slow down in life 2) siestas arent a choice 3) midday heat melts you 4) get comfortable with boredom 5) live frugal or you get ripped off 4) forced to learn spanish 5) get a good tan 6) mental health reset 7) get tested daily 8) patience is key 9) amazing sunsets are free

@MikeNasser91 Small village, yes. Water keeps going out, no aircon, zero tourists, women wash laundry in a river, sketchy reception, heat hits you. If your in centro locatons in airbnb or super gentrified areas of el salvador your missing out on an emmersive cultural experience.
