The person in the public toilet is a stranger to me. I have no interest in their genitalia, either at birth or now. What they do alone in a closed toilet booth is also of no interest to me. I’ll just be getting on with my own business, washing my hands & leaving. As will they.

@k_eagar There are many towns, such as the one I live in, that are tourist towns. People love to come here for weekends and holidays, the town survives on that B&B weekend and holiday stay trade. There's no industry here aside from that which the weekend & holiday tourist trade creates.

Can someone please explain in simple language why Australia shouldn't ban short term rentals like Airbnb? If we did that, it would free up literally thousands of houses and bring them back into the rental market & discourage investors owning multiple short term rental properties
