Update: the team at @phygitals and @coladacodes have resolved this issue. The team has acknowledged this should have been dealt with properly at first and I hope they begin to handle many of the other situations I have heard brought to light with this post. Thank you to the community for showing support and sharing, commenting, and bringing attention to this, I appreciate it greatly. I hope this leads to better customer support and future experiences with customers

🚨DO NOT PLAY ON @phygitals 🚨 I received a “sealed” OP-11 case from this company (which I recorded opening the package as I do with all my high end products) to find the case has been tampered with. The company took a week to review my pictures and claims to give me an uneducated response that the “tape on the box is not considered unusual” and is “consistent with how some suppliers package their products”. I have seen, handled, and dealt with hundreds of sealed cases - I have never seen a case with tape in this format. It raises the risk of a future buyer and even myself, being unsure the contents are authentic. The only way to verify the case would be to open it and furthermore to verify no boxes have been swapped, you would have to rip each box inside - leaving me to only sell to a ripper with the insurance that if there are not the guarantees within the case, a refund is due. This is a huge risk potential and the company generating a large revenue stream offers a 70% buyback, no compensation for the shipping fees already incurred, and a measly $250 credit towards their site so I can go through the same inconveniences I just went through. I highly suggest not using this platform due to their greed factor and lack of customer support. Be careful of which teams you decide to put your money with.

I’ve dealt with One Piece cards for 4 years now That case is a scam @phygitals should fully refund you and move on with their business A $6000 case is not worth ruining their reputation To be honest if they do take care of you, mad respect from me 🫡

Cases will only come with clear tape unless they are for asia, which will have green or yellow tape. I am no extreme whale, but I do have a fairly sized collection and have been in the game for a long time, always record yourself when you pack or unpack anything, it can save you.

@RyonFIT not here to dog in phygitals at all but i wanna say as someone whos decently new to cards i never would have known that box has been resealed tbh and i feel like majority of other people wouldnt know either unless you’re a pro thanks for sharing this, it’s good knowledge

Hey mate it’s Jake (one of co founders) here. First off i apologize for poor experience. I went back through your case myself. The photos show a tear at the top where tape had been removed, and honestly we had everything we needed to handle this right the first time. We didn’t, and that’s a miss on our end. I’m using this internally to make sure the team catches cases like this going forward. I’ll DM you shortly and we’ll make it right with 100% buyback and some other goodies. For context, we ship close to 6,000 items a month and every single one gets a quality and authenticity check before it goes out. Doesn’t mean we’re perfect, and when something looks opened or resealed, we dig into every step of fulfillment and shipping to figure out what happened, we are constantly reiterating and refining this process so that in future issues like this never arise. Whether this was vault side or customs, we'll figure it out and make steps to make sure it doesn't happen again. Appreciate you flagging this, and again, sorry for the frustration 🤝
