Rockstar is delaying the PC release to protect the launch economy of GTA Online 2.0 They're forcing the entire player base onto consoles for the first 12-18 months, and trapping their biggest whales in a closed ecosystem where microtransactions can't be bypassed. @AirwingMarine Considering how nerfed the AI is I don't think it makes much difference. I died to a scav ONCE this whole 1.0 and even that was when I loaded tagged and cursed to do zero to hero pest control. You could also die to AI or elements because of a pvp fight so I think it is fair.

They changed K/D to PMC kills / ALL Deaths, which is an improvement over the inflated scav numbers. BUT, I think it would be much more meaningful if we had it Display Player Kills with Deaths to Players (GZW does this). Deaths to Killa, Goons, Partisan being applied to PMC kills doesn't make any more sense than the over all K/D we had before IMO.

There isn't a large streamer in the Tarkov category that will say otherwise. Even LVNDMARK will tell you the game is plagued by cheaters. It's always been that way. Saying otherwise leads me to believe you have less than 500 hours in the game, only play PVE or you're a cheater yourself lol. Nobody truly believes Tarkov ISN'T plagued by cheaters.

Yes the streamers you mentioned are notoriously known for crying cheats every death, which is why majority of us don’t watch or listen to them.

Are you saying that Tarkov only seems to be plagued with cheaters because people are dumb or bad at the game? Historically that's just not accurate. Turn on any streamer that is still playing Tarkov and you'll prove that argument wrong in a half hour. Watch Fragas or Tigz. They get slammed by rage cheaters practically every other raid. Factually speaking, Tarkov is plagued with cheaters and BSG does a very poor job at combatting them. Using Tarkov as a baseline, ABI probably has the same or more cheaters, yet they do a great job at combatting them.

You get a lot more information, and can spot enemies a lot easier. So that perception of more knowledge makes you feel more confident in your game play. In tarkov most people are lost and don’t know how to fight

BSG’s inability to combat cheating is an outlier, not the standard. ABI is F2P and does not have those issues. The continuous source of income provides incentive for BSG to have some level of responsibility regarding the state of their game. Right now it doesn’t matter because since you’ve already purchased the game, they don’t need to compete to get you to continue playing. In fact, they probably save money if you don’t play.

I always dreamed to make proper hard sci-fi. It been around my head for years - to bring life to new universe with predicting-the-future approach. And, of course, add something new to the genre as I did with Tarkov. Now my life has become twice as difficult. I decided to rush in with the thought: what if more time passes and I no longer can or want to do anything new? Frago is being developed by separate company that I created, full of great ppl around the globe. Escape from Tarkov is my life and I'm continue working on it too with my BSG family no matter what. Tarkov for life. Frago is the new adventure that I want to share with you. Thank you for your support and long live hardcore!
