@NextGenPlayer Thank God. I dont want more games under Neil Druckman. Uncharted 4 already was a step in the wrong direction. Uncharted 1-3 are fun action blockbusters, with fun Characters and fun Dialogue. No stupid "message". Just fun. Having fun wasnt allowed in Uncharted 4

@notdarkhead @thajavisshadow Webman has lots of PS2 patches that help fix so many emulation issues for Fully emulated and Partly emulated (CECHC) PS3s

@VNA9218 @NikTek I have a CECHC04 PS3 with "software emulation" (even tho it still has a GPU from the PS2) and most of the games from my library run just fine. There were only 2 unplayable games but 2 out of over a hundred is a great result

I still find it insane that in order to make early PS3 models backwards compatible with PS2 games, Sony had to literally shove a mini PS2 inside the PS3. Later PS3 models had to remove the PS2 hardware inside the PS3 to cut costs.

@whereisaaron @NikTek Sony initially planned to let the PS3 Slim run PS2 discs simply via net_emu (ps2 classic style emulation) Altough it was scrapped later on and the ps2 classic pkgs were adopted There are still remnants of this feature which can be enabled using Homebrew

@NikTek PS2 contained a mini PS1 too. PS3 had both! Because console games coded to the h/w, any emulation imperfection broke stuff. Which is why RPCS3 is still so imperfect after *15 years* of effort. This h/w BC stopped with PS4, because building in PS3+PS2+PS1 is way too expensive! 😅

@notdarkhead HEN is suffering, constant freezes, black screens.. not being able to do the cool stuff My first ps3 was a super slim so yeah had to use it back then

@S5M54 Indeed! HEN wasn't enough for me... it was tedious to enable the jailbreak every time I boot up my PS3

@notdarkhead qCFW is great, you know your stuff then haha. My main ps3 is a 2500 luckily still able to do CFW, has the beefy GGB RSX too!

@S5M54 It currently has qCFW, since my model only supports HEN, but I was able to install a modchip! it has a fork of EvilNat adapted for the 3000

@S5M54 It looks even cooler with it! I do like it horizontally, but at least in my furniture, there's a very thight space on where it fits
