🚨 🇹🇼 TAIWAN BRACES FOR FUNG-WONG: THE STORM THAT WON’T DIE Tropical storm Fung-wong is rolling into Taiwan, and the island isn’t taking chances. Over 3,000 people evacuated, schools and offices shuttered, and the army’s on alert. The storm already chewed through the Philippines - 18 dead, 1.4 million displaced, and entire mountainsides collapsing under record rains. Taiwan’s meteorologists say Fung-wong has weakened from super typhoon status, but with winds topping 100 kph, “weakened” still means “tear your roof off.” China’s southeastern provinces - Fujian, Guangdong, Zhejiang - are also on storm watch.
