There is some truth in what Ngizwe Mchunu said. We can’t march forever. The message has been sent. Government knows South Africans want illegal immigration addressed. Now it’s time for the authorities to do their job. If someone is in the country illegally, the law must take its course. Marches create awareness, but enforcement creates results. As African countries, we have to acknowledge and address the conditions that drive migration in the first place.   We need to work together to address issues like conflict, instability, governance failure, poverty and social discord.   We need to create equal economic opportunity across Africa.   We need to silence the guns.
