I will not lie. I talked to at least 4 families who went to the race knowing nothing and were interested in watching more races. I’m happy for them at least. I’m just ready to get back to the hotel and freeze myself

@astro_kianna I was talking to some friends and family about this when it got announced as well. And with how much flash flooding and storms have been happening within the past month and a half should have really doubled down on push for end of the year

@SARGENODA As soon as they announced it was being moved last year I said it would be a disaster. Everyone knows this is the worst time of year for outdoor events because the heat makes storms more intense

making me agree with santino might actually be the worst part of this entire trip

Sundays tickets remain valid for today’s rescheduled race at Nashville. Anyone who fancies popping down that didn’t already have a ticket, they’re going to be priced at just $10. Weather looks good. Let’s go racing. Gates open at 12.

I had a bad feeling it would be closed since they're opening the gates an hour before the race starts. There's no time to even get to the garage because you have to take the tram and it's too hot to walk. Move this fucking race back to August/September and I'm not asking again.

If you have a Nashville Indycar ticket, they reissued it for today. Check your ticket account and/or digital wallet and it should be there already.

@DLand91 I think that would make it an even better season finale. Last year it was so much fun even during the day (albeit it was not as hot) and having the 225 laps. Hopefully this idea for the finale can happen. 🙏

I sincerely hope Nashville (the oval) returns as the season finale next year as a 400 mile night race. Would be absolutely incredible. Tomorrow will still be good, just not as good as we hoped.
