The Hard Questions Facing the Remaining ADC Leaders. With Obi and Kwankwaso gone, romantic assumptions must come to an end. Here are the delivery questions the ADC must confront honestly: Can Atiku Abubakar still command strong numbers in the North and North-Central without Kwankwaso? Can Rotimi Amaechi deliver a meaningful portion of the South-South? Can Seyi Makinde deliver the South-West beyond Oyo State? Can Aminu Tambuwal mobilize significant support in the North-West? Can Mohammed Hayatu-Deen add real value in the North-East and nationally? Can David Mark provide the leadership gravitas and discipline to hold the entire structure together? These are not personal attacks they are the cold realities of 2027 politics. The remaining ADC still has experienced leaders and some governors, but personal brand is not the same as zonal delivery or solid structure. 2027 is close. This exodus has cleared out some egos and given them a real chance to stabilize. The big question now is whether they’ll use this moment to build something serious or repeat the same old mistakes. These past few days have exposed something clearly A lot of people don’t have principles they have preferences. That’s why the same behavior is defended today and condemned tomorrow. Hypocrisy isn’t occasional anymore it’s the default.

Let’s be honest. Many of the problems we complain about daily are state and local government responsibilities. But we don’t track budgets, we don’t question decisions, and we barely engage our representatives. Then we act surprised when nothing works. Accountability starts where you are.

In Yobe State, REPS in their 60s and 70s are being given return tickets. Some are returning for a third, fourth, and even fifth term. Yet, none of them can point to anything tangible they have done for the people. The only reason appears to be that they are in the good books of the former governor. At this rate, they might as well turn Yobe into a sultanate and appoint him as the Sultan.

A divided opposition remains APC’s strongest asset. The remaining ADC group now has fewer egos and a cleaner shot at building something serious. Whether we seize it or repeat the cycle is the real question. Structure beats hype. Always has.

This free ride on OK advice is why opposition keeps failing. Riding personalities may win some National Assembly seats, but it rarely builds real power. Many did it in 2023 where’s their structure today? Politics is not grace or anointing. It’s structure, ward-level machinery, and hard organization. Jumping on trending tickets without fixing power-sharing and discipline only creates another fragile vehicle that will collapse. NDC is still untested. Hype is easy. Survival is the real test. Serious players build machines, not miracles.

FREE ADVICE TO ALL. If you have ambition of contesting election in Nigeria, most especially for a seat at the NATIONAL ASSEMBLY (Senate or Reps), then this advice is for you. Register as a member of the NDC @NigeriaNDCHQ in your ward formally, then obtain the expression of interest and nomination form of the NDC for the position you wish to contest for. Out of the blues, you might just win the forthcoming National Assembly election in that senatorial district or federal constituency. It doesn't matter if you are rich or poor, popular or unpopular in your area. THERE ARE CURRENTLY TWO BIG HORSES in Nigeria on which backs you can ride on to the premise land for free. OBI and KWANKWASO NDC ticket will take you to the National Assembly for free with little or no effort. On the day of presidential and national Assembly election, it is NDC votes from top to bottom. Seize this opportunity and tap into the blessings of the OK moving train. NDC is the right vehicle to pilot you to that dream destination of yours, and our OK co-pilots will land you safely. An Okada man in Kaduna state without having money to even print his own campaign posters rode on the back of Peter Obi to the National Assembly in 2023 under the Labour party against the APC. So many other Nigerians found their way to the National Assembly by tapping into the grace and anointing of the 2023 Peter Obi. That grace is once again available for tapping under the NDC. Take full advantage of it. I gave this same advice in 2022 when Peter Obi moved to the Labour Party. Few weeks after the election in 2023, someone came to my DM to thank me with the screenshots of my advice. Take advantage of this moment to ride on the backs of OK to the National Assembly.
