This mental health nurses day, I along with another mental health nurse colleague from @SASMHteam delivered mental health awareness training to our @Scotambservice colleagues. Some great discussions, interactions and sharing took place #MentalHealthNursesDay #UWSLanark

We are helping the Scottish Ambulance Service find out about the lived experience of people who have been in contact with the Scottish Ambulance Service during a mental health crisis in the last two years.

I attended a mental health call, this very early morning, and it is the first time as a student paramedic that I used my ASIST training from @SASMHteam. The call went as well as it did because of that training. I advise any student paramedic to do this course when they can.

@DaIeEvans @CraigUsherUK @Scotambservice Hi Dale, thank you for your question. There is no change to the way ambulances are dispatched. CFRs are welcome to come to CPD sessions the mental health team deliver along with SAS staff and students.
