The footage, which has been circulating on social media, shows a man identified as Mugisha Tomson, 40 years old and a resident of Kyebando, being assaulted by unidentified assailants. The attack occurred around Ben Kiwakuka Street at approximately 8 PM yesterday, May 22nd, 2024. We have since established that during the incident, the victim was robbed of 450,000 UGX, a bag containing important documents, keys, and a container. The Central Police Station in Kampala has promptly opened inquiries into this attack. So far, two suspects have been identified and are currently assisting with the ongoing investigations. We are actively working to trace and apprehend all individuals involved and ensure they are brought to justice. We urge members of the public to be vigilant and mindful of their surroundings.
