The biggest challenge is big tree logs blocking the flow. The municipality promised to remove them unfortunately that hasn’t happened yet. With the rainy season approaching we’re racing against time but we won’t stop. We’ll keep pushing for our river, our water, our heritage

Snippets from the Apies River clean-up in Pretoria! What a fun and impactful day. We collected 57 waste bags with a strong turnout of about 20 volunteers and this time we were joined by medics and even the Metro Police, who showed up to lend a hand. If they can, why can’t you?
