@trainwalebhaiya That's just a diesel locomotive which has clearance to operate at its top safe speed because of fast designation all the 15,000+ passenger trains have the same top speed and if given clearance and priority track passages any train can go 160. The difference is technology

@nagarjun__S Ugadi is festival of Southern states like Telangana, AP and Karnataka. Here in North India its first day of Navratri which is fasting and keeping away from all tamsik foods for 9 days. Delhi has Kannada association which celebrates Ugadi. Join them

WHITE ELEPHANT MODI | As we exposed nearly two years ago, Modi’s vanity project, the Mumbai–Ahmedabad Bullet Train, has seen its cost escalate from the original ₹1.1 lakh crore to ₹1.98 lakh crore. This is when the project is half complete. The final cost could be more than 2.5 lakh Cr. The additional ₹90,000 crore burden will now be borne by Indian Railways, which is already struggling for funds. The Japanese agency JICA is not going to fund this escalation. The main attraction of JICA funding was the ultra-low 0.25% interest rate. But this extra ₹90,000 crore will now be raised as debt by the Government of India at 7–8% interest. It will take more than a century to recover the cost. The original projected ticket price between Mumbai and Ahmedabad was around ₹3,000. With costs nearly doubling while the project is only half complete, ticket prices could well touch ₹6,000–₹7,000. How many of you would actually pay that much for this ride? In Parliament today I proposed optional Joint filing of Income Tax Returns for married couples. Family A Both spouses earn ₹10 lakh each. Total household income is ₹20 lakh. Tax: zero Family B One spouse earns ₹20 lakh. The other stays home to raise their child. Total household income is ₹20 lakh. Tax: ₹1.92 lakh The only difference is how the salary is split between the two spouses. One roof. One kitchen. One household budget. But when tax time comes, the family disappears. The tax system sees two individuals. A husband and wife become strangers. No clubbing of income or rebates. In Parliament today I proposed optional joint filing of Income Tax Returns for married couples, so families with uneven incomes are not unfairly penalised. If implemented, then Family A and Family B both will pay Zero Tax.

Mysuru has been officially designated as Karnataka’s second IT city to decentralize the technology sector and ease infrastructure pressure on Bengaluru. Under a strategic roadmap by the government of Karnataka, the city aims to generate $10 billion in digital revenues and create at least 150,000 new digital jobs by 2030. Mysuru is emerging as a semiconductor and ESDM powerhouse. Other strategic industrial projects include a Cybersecurity Hub, a Rare Earth Permanent Magnet hub, a 230 acre Semiconductor Manufacturing Park, and a new KIADB Aerospace Park. To preserve the city’s unique character, the Silicon Fortress vision balances high-tech growth with heritage preservation, including a ₹10 crore boost for the upgradation of Dasara Exhibition grounds and the conversion of Lingambudhi Botanical Garden into a premier eco-tourism site. Urban infrastructure modernisation & tourism efforts are further supported by: - the formation of Greater Mysuru - ₹675 crore project for Road & UGD infrastructure - ₹490 Crore for city-wide Underground cabling by CESC - a flagship Film City at a cost of ₹500 Crore - A 400-bed to 600-bed (additional 200 beds) upgradation of Jayadeva hospital at a cost of ₹180 crore - Commencing of Peripheral Cancer Hospital - Construction of a 100 bed NIMHANS hospital Further, Through the ₹1,000 crore LEAP initiative, Mysuru intends to scale its startup ecosystem to over 2,800 companies by 2030. All these initiatives will elevate Mysuru from just being a heritage city to the economic powerhouse of the region, driving Karnataka’s digital economy along with Bengaluru. Have no doubt.
