Welcome back to the Banks @AnthonyAshnault! So happy to have you here where you belong. ❤️

Vic Avery. That guy rocked.

Trause’s win over Trumbetti is the greatest match I’ve witnessed that nobody ever talks about. The depth here was insane. I watched the 7th place finisher at 103 beat Kyle Dake. Alex Silvestro played in the NFL and got 4th. Jimmy Conroy a multiple time champ if he’s not in Grey’s weight every year. They do not raise chickens in South Plainfield that guy ran head-first into the storm every year. Burroughs / Greenwald / Fava / Lanno at 135 is a bloodbath. Hester was one of the greatest heavyweights I’ve ever watched. If you are really in the know, you know how good Anthony Luma was. If I were ever in a fight the first person I would want on my side would be Patrick Hunter. Anyone on the podium at any weight here was a freak.

No better feeling on this earth than a great post season round for your boys. 4 alive. 3 in the semis. 1 job: get to the party on the the boardwalk. Alexa, cue the Rocky IV soundtrack and let’s have a day

The official docked Princeton a team point for this “headgear toss” following Rocco Camillaci’s win at 157 lbs. The dual ultimately ended 20–19 in Rider’s favor, with that single point proving decisive. Princeton would have won the dual on criteria otherwise. I understand the rule, but at this level, in that moment, it’s worth asking: should that be called? Curious to hear thoughts from coaches, officials, and fans- especially on consistency and discretion in these situations.

Oskar Gluckow had only wrestled 11 matches in a @StBenedictsNJ singlet coming into 2025. But it was his final bout on Saturday at the 2025 Sam Cali Invitational that proved to be the biggest of his career. @SBPcoachHT More here: nj.com/highschoolspor…

Lane Kiffin's buyout at LSU is larger than Brian Kelly's—and it's guaranteed. Kiffin's $91M deal includes no offset or requirement to look for other jobs if he's fired.

Day 94 of training for Veteran’s Nationals with @BuFuApp: Hour of cardio in the morning and generally relaxed for the rest of the day. I have a good foundation set and can level up the strength and conditioning program. That is easy. Finding an actual coach on the wrestling side has been harder. I have some partners but not true freestyle workouts like I’d prefer. It’s interesting how resources that were abundant years ago are so scarce in this age bracket. Perfect circumstances don’t exist though I will make the best of what I have.

Watching this over a million times tonight on repeat:

@CoachGoodale Yes. It adds so much to the championships. And, as our sport continues to move into the era of the haves and the have-nots, the duels are getting less and less competitive. Other big events are great. The NDs should be fun, but no need to throw away a great system IMO.

Using the top 16 teams from the NCAA Tournament as the deciding factor for National Dual Invite bids won’t produce the best 16 teams for the next season. What it will do is make a lot of intrigue for the #16 team spot at NCAAs. A $20,000 payday on the line. I kinda like that.
