Being so close to the pitch and the players was amazing and made me feel part of the matchday team. I’m really thankful for the opportunity.” 💬 Laina, Ball Collector Volunteer: “Supporting the ball collectors at home games is a real privilege. The boys themselves are a credit - polite, well‑mannered, and a pleasure to be around. The boys have never moaned about any of the weather conditions and always turn out with a smile on their faces. USW Degree Programme | Student Experience Day ⚽🎓 Earlier this week we were delighted to welcome our new students joining us this September for our @UniSouthWales degree programme, as part of a fantastic Student Experience Day here at the @CBSArena The day gave students the chance to meet our current cohort, connect with key staff, and gain an insight into life on the programme. Managers from across our departments spoke about their areas of work and the programmes they are responsible for, helping students understand the wide range of opportunities available within the club and community setting. Students also heard from Dave Busst, our Head of Community, before receiving a full breakdown of the course from Matthew Barr, the programme lead. To top it off, everyone enjoyed a stadium tour, giving a behind-the-scenes look at our home and learning environment.
