Another run like that here would see him hard to beat and with Townend up he should run a big race again. Sober Glory isn't a certainty to back up that Cheltenham form and a chance is taken on BARON NOIR with this track likely to suit. He ran well in the Supreme doing some good late work having been taken back. If he settles better here he will be capable of an even bigger performance and he looks the value play. I know GREY DAWNING has been a drifter but at 9/2 he is still worth pursuing. He is back in trip so will need to prove he can keep tabs on them early but his form looks rock solid having finished fourth behind Gaelic Warrior and Jango Baie in the Gold Cup. We know he goes well at this track beaten just 3 lengths in the Bowl 12 months ago and he seems overpriced now. I still don't think we've seen the best of BOOSTER BOB and he could surprise a few here. He came down at Cheltenham last time so does need to bounce back but this track will suit as he is a strong traveller and if ridden a bit closer to the pace he should be capable of a big finish. Obviously his jumping needs to hold up but with Sean Bowen on and the yard red-hot he looks too big in the market. Blue Point colt COMICAL POINT caught the eye when third to Division on final outing at York. He is open to plenty of improvement and I have been waiting for him to run again. This looks a good starting point and with Oisin Murphy back in the saddle and the yard going great guns he looks the one to beat. It wouldn't surprise me to see him really well backed come post time. Dan Skelton took this last year and he has a good chance again with Harry Lowes towards the top of the market and THE MIGHTY CELT who seems to have gone under the radar somewhat. He ran well behind Saratoga at Cheltenham and I felt he was ridden with this in mind. He looks well handicapped and at huge odds makes tons of appeal. I thought that was a good effort from THREE SOCKS ON to force a dead-heat at Chelmsford. The winner is a progressive horse too and given time with more to come up in trip he looks a great bet to follow up against these. Adba and Always A Saint are both dangers but I feel like they need more time to come into their own whereas the selection is peaking right now and is a horse to keep on side.
