Dear Italian soccer fans, Don’t wait four more years. Swap your jersey for Canada. Find us outside @cafedipTO tomorrow, April 4 2026, between 10 am to 2 pm

Hundreds lined up for 'Forza Canada' @CANMNT_Official jersey swap at Cafe Diplomatico. All the jerseys were gone within minutes. Canada Soccer never took the jerseys, they just handed out 2026 kits and posters. Well done 🇨🇦 (viz via @CanadaSoccerEN) @TSN_Sports @TSNSoccer

Good history lessons for Canadians As George Grant warned in Lament for a Nation, a Canadian elite more concerned with its own ideological preening than with national interest sleepwalked the country into preventable loss of economic well being. History doesn’t repeat exactly, but the rhyme is getting loud. While the political class is gripped by TDS and performative outrage, what Canada actually needs is a hard‑headed, pragmatic deal with President Trump; did no one learn the lesson from the Diefenbaker episode in the late 1950s, when Ottawa’s posturing left us weaker, not stronger? Recall, the Diefenbaker–Kennedy debacle of the early 1960s, when personal animus and ideological posing poisoned the relationship and destabilized Canadian politics? Treating a U.S. president as a cartoon adversary might feel good in the moment, but as that episode showed, this lack of respect is a disastrous way to manage an asymmetric relationship on which Canadian security and prosperity ultimately depend. Yes History rhythms. 👇

If Quebec holds a referendum, we won't see the love-in for Quebec across Canada that we saw in 1995. Many will argue it's best for Quebec to go its separate way. Many more will utterly reject any notion that Quebec should get more $$$$ and power within Canada. You?
