With 1 in 5 Americans worried they’ll lose their job to AI in the next five years, workforce anxiety is high, especially for new graduates entering the market during tech layoffs. But the SCSP Task Force on AI and the Future of Work is highlighting a critical paradigm shift: AI is currently augmenting tasks, not wiping out entire professions. To navigate this transition successfully, we need a whole-of-nation effort across government, industry, and academia to move the corporate mindset away from fear and toward training. The future isn't about being replaced by AI, it's about learning how to use AI to build new skills and professions. The global tech supply chain is moving from East to West. @nvidia CEO Jensen Huang laid out a massive strategic pivot: a half-trillion-dollar commitment to pave the way for domestic chip plants, advanced packaging, and computer manufacturing right here in the US. This isn't just about tech independence. It’s a trillion-dollar re-industrialization movement creating high-skilled manufacturing jobs across the country. What are your thoughts on bringing semiconductor manufacturing back to the West? Drop your take below. 👇 #AI #NVIDIA #AInews #JensenHuang

Is the United States at risk of abandoning Taiwan? In a new op-ed for @ProSyn, SCSP's Director for Global Partnerships, Channing Lee, argues that despite competing global priorities and shifting political language, the ties binding Washington and Taipei are stronger and more resilient than ever. Instead of relying solely on presidential statements, the relationship is now deeply embedded in the tech infrastructure, subnational ties, and trusted supply chains. "Taiwan’s future no longer depends solely on how much attention the US government is giving to it at any given moment. It depends, instead, on Taiwan’s expanding presence within the institutions, economies, and technologies of the free world." project-syndicate.org/commentary/tai…

Former Israeli intelligence officer Amos Lahav gives a rare, candid breakdown of the October 7th intelligence failure. The problem wasn't a lack of information — it was what wasn't done with it. A sobering look at how assumptions and conception failures can be just as deadly as gaps in collection.

We have now dropped to zero." @nvidia CEO Jensen Huang addresses the controversy surrounding U.S. chip export controls, explaining the strategic cost of conceding the Chinese market and why the U.S. must ensure the world depends on the "American tech stack." 👇 youtu.be/pMjWLDvnApg

SCSP Chair Dr. Eric Schmidt delivered a harsh truth to the software industry: the AI revolution is fundamentally changing how we build applications. It is no longer about writing every single line of code yourself. The new era of software engineering is about harnessing and managing the power of AI tools to build at scale. This shift is so massive that it's already shaking up the stock market and forcing traditional Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) companies to adapt or face obsolescence. The era of traditional warfare is over. At the 2026 Exchange, SCSP Chair & Former Google CEO Dr. Eric Schmidt detailed the reality of the "transparent battlefield", where traditional, exquisite military hardware is increasingly vulnerable to automated systems. The strategic shift we are witnessing: ▪️ The vulnerability of large, heat-emitting platforms ▪️ The rise of AI-driven, EW-resilient drone swarms ▪️ A necessary transition to robotic, coordinated combat operations Watch his full assessment on the shifting character of warfare #ai #futureofwar #ukraine #AIExpoDC #war #ArtificialIntelligence
