I was on Little Green Lanes and Holifast Road this evening reassuring residents after the police incident earlier today. ❤️ Wylde Green is a strong resilient community. 🚨 A reminder: If you have any information that could help West Midlands Police, call 101 quoting log 667.

🚧 A police cordon remains in place along Birmingham Road from Greenhill Road to Penns Lane, following an isolated incident 🛍️ Expect delays and traffic in the area, however businesses, include those at The Lanes Shopping Centre, remain open and should be supported!

Police are appealing for witnesses following an incident at the Lanes Shopping Centre. Residents and visitors should avoid the area. If you have any information or footage, please submit at orlo.uk/Kb7kB. My thoughts are with the victim, who remains in hospital.

🤝 Great chatting to Dave Robertson, MP for Lichfield yesterday about the Midlands Rail Hub. 🚆 It will see two more trains per hour on the Cross City Line, including from Wylde Green to Lichfield! While the Tories have empty words, Labour are delivering change for our towns.

🚧 I’m delighted to share that the unsafe road surface on Greenhill Road has been scheduled for repair. 🏘️ Fixing our roads, repairing potholes and making them safe is one of my priorities. 💪 Wylde Green deserves a councillor who works hard to deliver local change.

💨 Yesterday I was out litter-picking on Birmingham Rd and was shocked by how many single-use vapes were littered. 🚫 They have been illegal to sell since June. Know a shop still selling them? Comment below or call Citizens Advice. ❤️ Let’s keep illegal vapes off our streets!

☕🍰Great to spend some time at Sweetfields Café and Bakery today, one of Wylde Green’s brilliant local businesses. 💻While enjoying a hot chocolate and coffee cake, I also reported fly-tipping on Birmingham Rd. 🌱Supporting local business and taking action for our community.

🚮 A quick litter-picking round this morning on Florence Road, and parts of Chester Road and Birmingham Road. ❓I’m back out this afternoon. Where should I head next?

Tragic news, thoughts are with the young girls family and loved ones.

🙏 Thank you to the hardworking teams at Birmingham City Council. 🔧 While delivering, I reported a broken lamppost and less than an hour later, a team were out. It’s secured for now and will be repaired soon. ❤️ Step by step, day by day, I’m working hard to deliver change.
