@SC_Prophet_NRL You still have the 2nd/3rd man in the tackle able to get the player on their back in the tackle - the legs tackler stops the forward progress safely without risking injury and copping a 4 week suspension.
Agree though - massive part of the problem is the Admin of the game

A horrible 5 minutes for Waddell…. Surely they have a kid that has a bit of heart. #NRLseaeaglesroosters

@NRL_SC_Addicts Normally an easy hold, but with 7 outs I might have to pull the trigger. Sunday morning decision. If he goes he’ll be back in 5 weeks

@scplaybook1 1,250… played every wrong reserve! I think it’s one of those weeks where most of us are within 100 of each other

That's a wrap to #NRLSupercoach Round 3, with injuries and sin-bins headlining the first week of price changes...

@SC_Prophet_NRL Massive risk for little reward?
Coming back from a Hamstring injury - Last game of the Round - Named on the bench #19 not starting - I think the smart play coming back from a hammy is give him his 2 free look games in case he does re-injures it.

@LeagueScenePod @BulldogRitchie I think the black hair rinse has seeped into his brain.

ARL chief Peter V'landys has put the onus back onto players and coaches to fix the dramatic increase in set restarts to start 2026.
V'landys declared the 78% increase in set restarts s is a "lack of discipline and the coaches way of slowing the ruck down".

@scplaybook1 Need to bring in Faalogo and Ryan Couchman, but also looking at Jayden Campbell

@TedMan12p @ask10inthebin Agree, I just hope it’s a $250k cash grab, not $100k!

👨✈️Early Armband Analysis👨✈️
🔵 Vice Captain - Nathan Cleary ($826.1k) 🐆
- Watching this man dismantle the Sharks with consummate ease on Saturday was a delight. He is the ultimate accumulator and had a number in just about every scoring column.
- A base of 40+, arrow-straight goal-kicking, and 2-3 touches every set means the scoring trend will continue.
- The 2026 Dally M medallist looks to be a very safe VC or C every week, particularly given how strong the Panthers look early.
🟠 Captain - Sua Fa’alogo ($511.7k) ⛈️
- The defining man early in SuperCoach 2026, non-owners are lamenting not starting with him. Thankfully, his price makes him very reachable as a must-have this week.
- If you are bringing him in this weekend - which you should be - he is a fantastic captaincy option against what looks to be a very tired Brisbane side.
- Iongi posted 99pts last week and there’s a world where Sua comfortably eclipses that with his electric footwork.
Alternates:
- Death, taxes, and Payne Haas. The Broncos herculean prop forward is once again a safe VC option in what feels like a must-win game for the boys from Brisbane. Expect 80+ in base+power as he continues to truck through a mountain of work while freeing up the arm at will.
- It’s been a slower start to the season than hoped/expected for Keano Kini and the Titans, but hold firm! They have a great opportunity to get right against what can only be described as a sieve of a defensive unit in the Cowboys. He’s been close to going much larger than his 57.5pt average, and I think this is the week it happens. POD!
- The options don’t end there, with Latrell, Nicho and Herbie all remaining as viable options with a huge ceiling.
