@SCalliss after nearly a year in the ground, we have the first new leaves on my second quandong tree. Looking promising for more fruit in five years time! 😆

This week, #mymenuplan includes #homegrown garlic, lemons, parsley, basil, chives, eggs, potatoes, mint, tarragon & rhubarb. It’s going to be warm, so lots of salads this week. (Also, a last ditch health kick before the indulgences of the silly season 😋)

@Deedumdeelee In retrospect I would have gone with less preserved lemon at the end. That can be a bit overpowering. And a bit of spud or chickpea is the mix wouldn't have hurt

@ERN_Malleyscrub @SCalliss This plant is a hemi-parasite, it needs to latch onto other plant roots for nutrients. They're still slow growing though, it's taken 6 years for my other plant to get 6' tall.
