Gov. Henry McMaster is at a press conference today at Hampton Park Christian School where he’s announcing $32 million in CARES Act money to go to help parents pay tuition for private schools.

Our @henrymcmaster just gave $32 million of the $48 million in CARES money to private schools. How is this not furthering the inequality in our state?

Several categories that are protected by federal law (most notably, religion and sexual orientation) are not listed in the non-discrimination categories of the SAFE grant program. (4/4)
