Richmond schools will be closed for spring break from March 16 to 27, 2026. Schools will re-open on March 30, 2026. Please note that two of our schools have slightly different spring break schedules: - Garden City Elementary School will be closed for spring break from March 16 to April 2, 2026. Garden City will re-open on April 7, 2026. - Spul’u’kwuks Elementary School will be closed for spring break from April 6 to May 1, 2026. Our S.E.E.D Family Learning series is planting seeds for lifelong learning! This four-part series reviewed the importance of outdoor play for strengthening social & emotional learning, numeracy & literacy skills in the early years for children aged 0-5 @sd38ELCC

With big smiles and lots of excitement, StrongStart families joined a lion dance and eagerly reached out to feel the lion’s soft and vibrant body. Lunar New Year brings many experiences enjoyed by all. @sd38ELCC

Children create cherry blossom trees using a cedar branch, pink playdough & styrofoam. With care & creativity, they shape the blossoms, assemble the materials, then place their artwork in a cream paper container to bring home in celebration of Lunar New Year🌸@sd38elcc
