JKUAT School of Law marked the conclusion of an intensive 40-hour Mediation Training and Certification Program held in collaboration with the Strathmore Dispute Resolution Centre @SDRCentre . The program was designed to equip participants with practical skills in conflict resolution, negotiation, and consensus building. From theory to role-plays, every session was about reshaping perspectives, strengthening communication, and embracing mediation as a tool for justice and peace. Participants were encouraged to put their new skills into practice and to continue refining their craft as mediators. This program is more than training — it is an investment in building a culture of dialogue and collaboration in Kenya and beyond. Special thanks to the SDRC team for this collaboration, to the JKUAT Karen Campus management for their support, to the participants for their commitment, to our sponsors Mohammed Muigai LLP and Professor Kariuki Muigua for their generous support, and to the Project Lead @muthonymwangi for planning this training and making it a success. ^DP
