@Burnvolver Right there with you. They did an excellent job but the game was meant to be updated constantly I think they didnt expect it to become the success it did. So I dont really think they are gunna do anything more but whatever game they are producing next.

@SDShake619 I get it, I want to talk about Marton all the time too lol. Maybe I'm a boomer now, but almost every game I've played is a buggy mess, like forever. I think they're doing a good job, and they're talented. It's annoying because of the stakes of the game, but they're doing okay.

@Burnvolver My fault. Yeah embark dropped the ball bad as well made way more then ever expected then took a month off Stella montis was a buggy mess, and didnt add a new weapon or anything of significance till 6 months later.

@Burnvolver Game is good but they dropped the ball by stealing artwork and then having a closed beta and a terrible server slam. Its unfortunate because bungie was one of the great developers. Marathon is a looter shooter disguised as a extraction shooter.

@glorpinity Not the same thing siege didnt use the budget or marketing Marathon did. Ubisoft didnt expect siege to become a hit or really anything.

I've mentioned siege in regards to the Marathon playercount discourse before but I'd like to again. People have forgot siege was a total commercial failure on launch despite being an established IP w/ traditional gameplay Bungie can 1000% improve the game and make it a success

Counterpoint: Play arc raiders instead if you want a “safer” experience. If marathon HADN’T cost a lot to create, not a singular fuck would be given about player counts right now and no one would be calling an arguably niche game a failure. These are mid wipe Tarkov numbers.

Marathon went a little too hardcore and it was one of its biggest mistakes. One thing that should have never happened is releasing a hardcore extraction shooter with no form of a safe pocket. No other game in the genre has done it. With all the hate and things working against it they should not have attempted to reinvent the wheel. I promise you if they had some form of safe pocket its outcome would be different. In this day and age where everyone cheats and exploits because they suck and hate losing you have to have a way for people to get wins even in their loses. If I was @MarathonDevTeam I would implement a safe pocket immediately for season 2

@dafaqtor Nobody slept on it. We all got to play it for free 3 or 4 days before release and full release had less players. Its just not that good. Gunplay is solid, the rest leaves much to be desired

Halo 2 and Halo 3 Remakes Reportedly in Active Development According to multiple sources cited by Halo insider Rebs Gaming, full campaign remakes of Halo 2 and Halo 3 are now in early active development at Halo Studios. The new remakes will follow the same approach as Campaign Evolved: -modernized visuals -updated gameplay mechanics such as optional sprinting -strict focus on the single-player story experience. -Multiplayer content will not be included in these projects and is instead being handled separately for a future title.

I honestly think if we all adopted a 4 day work week with 5-6 hour days, it would change the course of society. People would be happier, healthier, less angry, and more present. Social bonds would be stronger. It could literally change the entire world.
