Laziest comparison ever, Luka Doncic was a prodigy and is a generational talent. He has more triple-doubles at 27 than James Harden has in his entire 16 year career.
Moreover, James Harden is a known playoff dropper, averaging just 23/6/7 for his career. Luka Doncic is second in NBA history with 31 ppg. to go along with 9 rebounds and 8 assists.
Finally, Luka Doncic is a far better and more versatile defender. He is more efficient, and more clutch than James has ever been. So what are we left with?? That they both do step backs?? Neat.
This comparison is making its rounds again with the media and former players, and it’s all meant to diminish how special Luka Doncic is. What they’re really trying to say is “He’s not special, we’ve seen this before”. They just never go into the specifics, because the comparison doesn’t make sense.
Notice how they were eager to vote Harden as an MVP, but they always find a reason that Luka Doncic doesn’t deserve it?? I guess they don’t think they’re exactly alike!!
Regardless, James Harden is as much like Luka Doncic, as Alperen Sengun is to Nikola Jokic.
People are no longer buying what these retired, bitter, former players are selling anymore. You can keep your MVP, we know who he is. What Luka Doncic has done to this point in his career, is historic.

Your points are all factually correct, but the award is for value not efficiency defence and turnovers, they contribute, but Okc without sga are in another league than the lakers without luka 🤷

Better efficiency. Half the turnovers. Better defense despite that tiny sample isolation stat that's been making the rounds.
This is what I hate about the MVP race. By all means, support your guy, but it always devolves into "you're an idiot for picking anyone else."

IMO the cap space plan needs to go 1. Giannis, 2. Role players. If you want to win you are gonna need value contracts on ur roster and as we’ve seen with okc and SAS rookie contracts are the best way to do that
