New preprint from us: Muscle glycogen particles are either surrounding the sarcomeres or located within them. - Myosin ATPases use both pools of glycogen - SERCA pumps use glycogen surrounding the sarcomeres - Na,K pumps use glycogen within the sarcomeres biorxiv.org/content/10.110…

Nice study from Areta et al. showing that a "high fat - high energy diet" is not appropriate as part of train-low interventions. This confirms our findings in well-trained endurance athletes from 2018: physoc.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.14814/p…
